Imagine a green oasis that serves as a public park for the residents of Bentonville and beyond. This 6.5 acre garden has been developed into a native / woodland garden which is quickly becoming a regional destination garden and special events venue. Residents and visitors are able to take advantage of this beautiful and peaceful environment that contains a native plant collection.

Compton Gardens and Conference Center are named after Dr. Neil Compton, a noted Bentonville physician, writer, photographer, founder of the Ozark Society, and savior of the Buffalo River.
The Conference Center is the re-modeled home of Dr. Compton and now serves as a rental facility for seminars, conferences, workshops, retreats, intimate weddings, and private events. The Garden is available for film and commercial photo shoots.
For more information on rentals, please contact our sales and events office for the Peel Compton Foundation at 479.254.3870. Please review our calendar for available dates.

Please browse our website for more details on our event rental options or to learn more about the history of Compton Gardens and Dr. Compton himself. Many options exist for volunteer opportunities. The Peel Compton Foundation is a nonprofit organization and depends upon annual giving to help carry out its mission to preserve the past and educate the future residents of Northwest Arkansas about its history, heritage, and natural beauty.
