Qigong at Compton Gardens


Join Dr. LaBrie every Saturday for Qigong in the Gardens -- enlivening exercises guaranteed to feed your energy needs.

Qigong is the Chinese art of enhancing life giving energy (qi) in the body. The word qi describes the spark that jump starts us at conception and that continues to enliven us every day. Qigong (pronounced “cheegong”) exercises are physical postures and movements that free the flow of qi throughout the body. Each Saturday morning at 8:00 am, Dr. Janice LaBrie leads one hour of qigong exercises. All the exercises are done standing, and are most beneficial done outside in the open air. Where better than Compton Gardens?

April 23rd is the first day of qigong this year 2011. This is an ongoing class each Saturday throughout spring and summer and ends in August. Wear comfortable shoes.
