BECOME A VOLUNTEER - TEACH / LEARN / GROW / EXPAND
Do you have what it takes to be a Peel Compton volunteer?
Our volunteers serve the community and the world through their involvement in high-impact programs and activities. Volunteering at The Peel Compton Foundation will open many doors for you – doors to new experience, new knowledge, and new friends.
Most volunteer jobs have a requirement of 3-5 hours per week, varying upon the facility and the project chosen. If the volunteer opportunities excite you, please fill out the form below and either mail it to us or hit submit. We will call you to schedule an interview and to discuss the exciting adventures that await you at The Peel Compton Foundation!
Volunteers are needed for both facilities. At the Peel Mansion, volunteers have a choice of hours and days, including duties. One may become a docent and lead tours. Others may prefer to work in the office or even assume some duties at home on behalf of the Peel Mansion.
Compton Gardens and Conference Center have docent training for master gardeners that need education hours and are available to lead tours through the Gardens as well as the Compton Interpretative Wall. Other needs include volunteers to help out with office responsibilities. Master gardeners should note that office volunteers do receive education credit for volunteer time in the office.
